My oldest son Travis enlisted in the Navy this past October. We are so very proud of him. He was home on leave for 2 weeks this month after graduating A-School. I finally got a photo of him in his "dippin dots".He's airmen crew. 10 minutes after we were already supposed to be on the road to get him to the airport he's breaking out the iron to press his blues lol. We got to the airport with 28 minutes to spare and I could finally breathe knowing he'd make his flight to Virginia. Very sad to see him off, we miss him dearly when he's gone.
He's on the U.S.S. Kearsarge "The Amphibious Assault Ship" with Marine's & Sailor's and currently at sea for a couple weeks. We just found out that this up-coming September he will be going to the Gulf for 7 months. Sad news for all of us :( .
