Beagle in Watercolor

This is a portrait done using our Beagle Madison as reference. This was one  my first watercolor paintings attempted.  I've been using watercolor for a few months now and still learning as I go. This one happily, will be used as the cover illustration (if all goes well) for a children's book project.

9x12 Watercolor  portrait (I use tubes Windsor & Newton brand) on Strathmore Cold Press (rough) 140 lb. watercolor paper.
